on august 21st 2004 our rex a blue heeler white with 4 large brown black spots on his body and a brown/black head with a white stripe from the back of his head to his nose and around snout. came up missing he was playing in the back yard with a choc lab pup and they ran around the side of the motel the pup came back with a scared look on her face. we ran out the front and looked and hollard for rex. no cars no people no rex. since that day we have hung up fliers that keep getting taken down. we have sent fliers/posters to vets, shelters, police departments, shelters, people that stayed in the motel that night and the week before. we even drove 56 miles to a house of a guy that stayed in our motel and watched his house. see if there was any dogs. this man was one that i remember asking questions about rex when i rented him a room. then almost 2 months to rex being missing we get a phone call from a women who said she saw a man coxing rex into his vehicle with food. so rex was stolen. he could be anywhere in the usa as we live right off i70 exit 300 in kansas. Please print a poster of rex and take to your vet office. as i am sure who ever has him will have to take him to a vet sooner or later. thank you for keeping an eye out for rex. if you see him just call the police tell them the dog was stolen out of grandview plaza kansas and there is a police report. my 8 year old son just can't understand why someone would steel his dog. the other children are older and miss him too. but it's different with the little one as rex was his dog.
