My family purchased a puppy from Anna's "KENNEL"
last week, and this little puppy has been diagnosed with both Parvoe and Giardia. We attempted to reach her on several occassions but to no avail. When we finally did get to speak with her, her only comment was puppies often die.
this puppy has been hospitalized for close to a week now is on iv antibiactics and fluids, and
$2000.00 later she told us to remove the iv and bring the dog to her and she will send it on to one of the 3 vets she does business with. The vet at the hospital told us that if we did that
the puppy was surely going to die. We told her this and that is when she reiterated "puppies Die". We asked for the name of one of her vets and she refused to give us any information.
She offered to replace the dog but since both diseases are extremely contagious we felt that all the dogs would be ill and we did not want to go through another heart break. The doctor that is treating our puppy told us we must call her and put her on notice about the parvoe and girardia, because of the other dogs. At this point i am sure that she is still doing business
as usual and that is outrageous. in adddition to the sale of puppies she has a grooming business at this site and the community should be made aware of these risks and unhealthy conditions that prevail at the store. For the sake of your loved and devoted pets do not bring them to this woman. I also want to mention that one should not purchase any supplies ie toys food pet beds at etc, because will be contaiminated as well
